When does the Parish Council meet ?
The Parish Council meets every other month on the second Tuesday of the month.
Where does the Parish Council meet ?
The Parish Council meets in Withypool and Hawkridge Village Halls. The usual schedule is January, May and September in Withypool, and March, July and November in Hawkridge.
When is the agenda published ?
The agenda is published three days before the meeting on the Withypool noticeboard and the website.
Can the public attend meetings ?
Members of the public are welcome to attend meetings. If you wish to address the Parish Council you must send a summary of what you plan to say to the Clerk at least 24 hours before the meeting.
When are the minutes published ?
DRAFT minutes are published within three weeks of the meeting on the Withypool noticeboard and website. These will be reviewed and approved at the following meeting.
How can I contact the Parish Council ?
The best way to contact the Parish Council is via email using withypoolhawkridgeparishclerk@gmail.com . Your enquiry can be easily passed onto Councillors if necessary and it allows a record to be kept.
I have sent an email, when can I expect a response ?
There is no set timeline for resonding to enquiries. The Clerk only works three hours per week, so it will depend on current workload. Some tasks, for example the preparation of agendas and writing of minutes will take priority as these are time critical. Your enquiry may also require input from other sources.
